Product details

When we are talking about top class bikes, this Chesini X-Uno stands out for sure.

Chesini was founded in 1925 by Gelmino Chesini in Nesente, Italy. After, World War II, the company underwent a significant boost and a little time later in 1947 the bicycle factory “Cicli Valletti” was acquired. Chesini moved the headquarters to Verona, Italy. In the 1960’s, under the leadership of Gelmino's son Gabriele, the economic boom made Chesini also focus on other activities such as the Singer sewing machine sector.

The main focus, however, remained the bicycle industry, with a special emphasis on innovation and high quality, which earned Chesini the Ercole d'Oro International Prize in 1972, an award given to companies that prioritize innovation. And that is clearly visible when you have a better look at this bike. Chesini had an eye for details.

The Chesini X-Uno Aero is one of the most representative bikes of Chesini history and their top models of mid 1980’s. The superb frameset is made of Colombus SLX-SPX tubing and is shining in his original paintjob and chrome.
The wonderfull details as the X-Uno engraving in the bottom bracket shell, the chromed X-Uno headlug, the X-Uno rear brake bridge and many other details as the internal cable routing. All those details in combination with a mint Campagnolo C-Record groupset with delta brakes, limited edition Fausto Coppi saddle with number 2322, Pantograpghed parts as stem and seatpost makes this bike an absolute eye catcher. A collectors item for every vintage bike enthousiast.
