Eddy Merckx Team SC

Eddy Merckx, better known as ‘The Cannibal’ was born in 1945, in Belgium. He was a professional cyclist from 1961 to 1978. After his career, Eddy Merckx founded his new company in 1980. From his workshop in Meise, Belgium his new professional challange was was to produce high-end racing frames. Merckx went to Italy and got trained by the the art of building frames by De Rosa for several weeks. Ugo De Rosa trained Eddy Merckx and came to Belgium to visit the factory and the new employees.
